Minority Smoking Rates
[ send me this paper ]
An 8 page paper written in the attempt to prove the hypothesis that smoking rates among low income minority adults in the southwest region are higher than those of upper and middle income classes regardless of race. What was discovered in the course of the research, however, was that not only is this sort of information apparently not available, but that current research is so poorly designed it cannot possibly provide reliable conclusions. Most discouraging is that the bulk of research data has come out of the Centers for Disease Control, one of our more respected government agencies. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
