Creative Case Study on Entrepreneurship
[ send me this paper ]
6 pages in length.
Entrepreneurship is extremely important in the growth and
development of American business. While entrepreneurs are
important in any period of economic history, they were perhaps
even more important in the time period of economic growth from
the 1840's through the 1870's. This was the time when towns were
springing up in response to free land, the opportunity for mining
opportunities, and other chances to make a new life and try to
earn wealth. It was these early entrepreneurs who are
responsible for the development of the western part of the United
States. But as this paper will show, there are many factors that
aid or impede the success of entrepreneurs, such as government
regulations, and we must bear in mind the fact that the role of
the entrepreneur has shifted in the last two hundred years.
